Hi Karen
Charles Quail was born in New Brunswick, St Andrews we believe, around 1820 and sailed a ship out to Australia around 1850 as a master. His Parents names were John Quail and Grace Withers. We also believe his family were Manx but have no verification for that.
By the sounds we are most likley not related other than the fact that everyone is about 13th cousins or so they say.
