Hi! Chris
We share the same lines.Your grand-father is George Edmond Packwood born 1878, his father John born 1839,his father John born 1787, his father John Sr. born England date unknown died 1791 husband of Anne Schurman. John Sr.was in the employ of the colonial army in Prince Edward Island under the command of his Excellency Walter Patterson Esq. Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island. I know there is a Packwood house in Warwickshire, England. I'm in the same boat as the person who posted the first message and that is trying to find out where in England John Sr. came from and his parents etc.Hope this helps you and if there's someone that can help me get info on John Sr.
I'd appreciate it.

Emile S. Packwood
