Sophronia H. Packard m. 02-Oct-1833 at North Bridgewater [Brockton VR 262, 282, int. 21-Jul-1833 West Bridgewater VR 162, 169] Elbridge Gerry Snell, b. 08-Mar-1799 [Bridgewater VR 1:295], son of Zachariah and Mehitabel (Sylvester) Snell. Sophronia d. 07-Sep-1839 aged 31 (gravestone) [Brockton VR 361] and was buried in Coweeset Cemetery, Brockton [ibid.]. Elbridge remarried to Elizabeth Hamilton of West Bridgewater 31-Dec-1840 at West Bridgewater [Brockton VR 212, 282; West Bridgewater VR 140, 169].
I have not yet found any children for Sophronia and Elbridge - the NEHGS web site, my primary resource for the initial stage of such a search, is having fits today. I will try it again later this weekend.
