I am searching for any information on the O'Donnell family from Dungloe, Ireland who immigrated to America in or around 1854. They settled in Allentown, PA. My great-great Grandfather was Capt. James O'Donnell who served in the Civil War. When he returned home to his wife Grace and several children he worked throughout the Lehigh Valley at various Iron Mills. The family lived on Ridge Avenue in Allentown, PA and later he ran a small grocery store from the home. His daughter Anne Marie married Manus Gallagher and after James O'Donnell passed away they ran the store for several years. The O'Donnell family I am searching for have connections to the McCafferty and Gallagher families. I have quite a bit of information on all 3 of these families and I am welling to share with others who are connected with these families.
