My great grandfather was Maurice O'Connor born circa the 1840's. He and his wife Ellen Keane lived in Castleisland, although my mother also mentioned Knocknagoshel Their children, born in the 1870-s and 80's were Daniel, Hugh, Simon, Jack, Catherine, Minnie (Mary) and Ellen (Nellie).
Catherine married Cornelius O'Leary, son of Thomas O'Leary and Abigail McKenna. Catherine and Tom married in New York, returned to Listowel and then again returned to New York. Would love to know the names of Maurice's parents as well as Ellen's. (Ellen had a brother Daniel Keane who moved to Michigan). Ellen and Maurice's son Daniel moved to New York and had a son Maurice who died at Pearl Harbor.
