JOHN+MARY were married 18 June 1879. The couple then resided in the town of Kildysart. John from Kildysart, Mary from the Townland Drumquin in the parish 0f Clondegad Mary's maiden name was Leyden born to John+BridgetLeyden nee Guinnane from a Coney island family. In 1855 the Clondegad area was known as Clondegad/Kilchreest Mary was Baptised 29 June 1856.Mary+John had 9 children.Jane [Baptised]4/6/1880 Thomas[B]12/6/1882 Mary B[B]2/2/1884 Margaret J [B]22/5/1885 Anne[B]26/7/1887 Ellen[B]9/6/1889 Emilia[B]9/4/1891 Patrick[B]5/12/1895.Some names at the baptisms were John+Bridget Leyden, Maria O"Connor,Jer+Nora Guinnane, Pat+Bridget O'Connor,Charles+Kate leyden,Dan+Mary Guinnane, Kate Leyden, Anne LEYDEN, Tom+Mary O"Connor. The Anne 1887 married Patrick Jackson on 31/12/1909.Census 1901 shows Bridget a widow living at Drumquin with 5 0f her children and her granddaughters Anne and Catherine O'Connor. Does anybody have more information on these families to share in thejigsaw Iwould be very pleased.
