Margaret R. O'Connor Funeral services for Margaret R. O'Connor, 93, of Mauston, Wis., formerly of Beach Park, Ill., will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at St. Patrick's Church, 15000 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, Ill., with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Born Dec. 12, 1914, in Waukegan, she passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at Villa Pines in Friendship, Wis. Margaret retired and moved to Mauston in 1971. She and her late husband, James F. O'Connor, owned and operated Beach Park Foods from 1943 to 1971. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mauston and formerly Our Lady of Humility. Margaret is survived by her sons, James (Joan) O'Connor of Hot Springs, Ark., and Charles L. (Judy) O'Connor of Englewood, Tenn.; daughter, Eileen O'Connor of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Trude Doughton of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; and brother, Lyman Newell of Portage, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1982; daughter, Kathi Duncan on Dec. 18, 2007; two daughters in infancy; and four sisters.
