Thomas Alphonso and Virginia were in turn blessed with two children (perhaps more?) Thomas V. O'Connell born 1929 and Colleen A. O'Connell born 1928. It is believed they continued to reside in Denver, CO. during this time. From an earlier date their parents ran "The Blue Goose" saloon situated down by the railroad tracks. During the Prohibition era the front-end business was a cigar shop. The business in its many forms continued to operate until that part of the city was redeveloped when the Blue Goose Saloon was consigned to the dust and rubble of history.
