Looking for the family of Cornelius O'Callaghan Born about 1823 in Glanworth Nr Mallow in County Cork, Ireland.
Cornelius Married Elizabeth Down at Templemichael, Waterford in 1847. Cornelius enlisted with the 59th Regiment of Foot between 1846 and 1870, serving in Ireland, Canton in China, Cape Town in South Africa, Ayre in Scotland and England. In 1870, he returned to the Mallow are with is wife Elizabeth and four Children. It is possible that he also lived in or near Sussex in England after 1870 where his Son Timothy lived and Married a Kate Edwards in 1886. Any help would be appreciated.
