I have been researching the DeHaven's because my great grandmother, Rose Mendoza, was married to George W. DeHaven. Rose had 3 children by a previous marriage: Julia O'Callahan (or Callahan), Rose Ellen Callahan (my grandmother), and Frank (or Francis) Callahan. All 3 children took the DeHaven name and Frank changed his name to Carter DeHaven, although I don't know why!
Carter married Flora Parker and they had 3 children:
Carter, Jr., Marjorie and Gloria.
