My name is Barbara Bretthauer Marquez Froyland. My mother was Rose Bryan Bretthauer. Her mother was Elberta O'Berry Bryan, sister of James Alpheus O'Berry, Charles Adolph O'Berry, Martin Luther O'Berry, Katie Leticia O'Berry, Leola Marie O'Berry, Rose Elizabeth O'Berry, John Franklin O'Berry, David LeRoy O'Berry and Elizabeth Ann O'Berry. Their parents were James Franklin O'Berry (Born 5/7/1862; Died 8/17/1942 in Miami, FL)and Elizabeth Waller Barnes (Born 12/1/1867; died 8/2/46 in Miami). James Franklin's father was James O'Berry (Born between 1838-40)in Ware County, GA; died between 1864-65 in Savanah, GA)and his mother was Leticia Worth. James O'Berry was the son of Wilson C. O'Berry (born 1815-1819 in Macon County GA; died after 1860); Wilson C. was married to Elizabeth. Wilson C's father was Solomon O'Berry (b: about 1785; d between 1830 and 1836) and was married to Polly. Solomon's father was James O'Berry (born between 1735-1740; died 1820-30 in Georgia) and married to Priscilla.

You and I are related...perhaps you could figure that out?
I am very interested in genealogy and have extensive Bryan research. From my mother (Rose Bretthauer) I inherited many O'Berry family pictures dating way back...I am just beginning my O'Berry quest - I have a burning desire to figure out when/how/from where we O'Berrys came to the U.S.

Hope all this helps!
Your new relative,
Barbara
