My wife's 2nd great-grandparents were Isaac Mellor b;1807 and Jane Naden b; 1808, both in Quarnford, Stafford, Eng. They were married 1828 in Alstonfield, Stafford, Eng. Their children were: William 1930, Mary Ann 1833, Hannah 1837, and Jane 1838. Isaac's wife Jane is said to have died 1838. Isaac and William came to America 1842. Settled in Kenosha Co. WI.in 1848. Mary Ann and Jane joined family in 1848. Been told Jane Naden's parents were Thomas and Jane Slack of Alstonfield also. Could our Naden's be connected to your Samuel Naden? and the Mellor/Milner line? Always looking. Please contact me at my e-mail address. rthompso@online.dct.com Thanks, Bob Thompson
