Looking for the parents of Rebecca Morrow Nail Prewitt.

By 1860, Rebecca Morrow Nail Prewitt was living in
Madison County, Tennessee with her daughter Sarah and
son-in-law Lafayette Tanner.
The families of William S. Nail, Benjamin Franklin Nail,
and Thomas Williamson went to the areas of Independence
and Izard Counties, Arkansas. A brother of Thomas
Williamson, Richmond P. Williamson was in that part of
Arkansas. The Nails and Williamsons were living in
Tippah Co., Mississippi before going to Arkansas. Tippah
is below Hardeman Co., Tenn.
Apparently, a relation to the above people, named
William Morrow came to Independence County, Arkansas.
He died October 15, 1864 in Independence County, Arkansas.
According to his probate papers, his heirs were William
Nail, B. F. Nail, Mary Hamilton, and Eliza Jane Williamson.
All residents of Arkansas. Richmond P. Williamson or
B. F. Nail were administrators of the estate at various
times. On May 23, 1867, Rebecca Pruett of Madison County,
Tennessee gave power of attorney to William S. Nail in respect to her interestin the estate of William Morrow. No
family relationship is ever given in the papers between
William Morrow and his heirs.
