Neil Cameron marries a Catharine McPhee on 8 April 1849 . A census record for 1851 shows a Neil Cameron, 31 years, flesher, and Catharine Cameron, 26 yrs, at 80 High Street Fort William and a son Hugh who is one year old. All are shown as born Kilmallie, Argyle.
Catharine's Parents are Angus Mcphee, Ships carpenter, and Mary McIntosh. Corpach may have been the home village.
Neil and Catharine have the following children.
1. Catharine Cameron ( daughter) born around 1856
2. Angus Cameron, 18 March 1858
3. Sarah Cameron, 1st december 1861,
4. Mary Ann Cameron 13 November 1863
5. Margaret Cameron 3 April 1868, Kilmallie
6. Donald Cameron 21 July 1865
Donald is born at Achintore, Fort William, Kilmallie. Neil is a crofter.
