Looking for information on Charles McPhee and Jessie McGinnis. I recently found a marriage record for a Charles McPhee, son of John and Jessie McPhee, born about 1845 in Cape Breton, and Jessie McGinnis, b. abt. 1845 in PEI, daughter of Malcolm and Catherine McGinnis. Charles and Jessie were married on July 24, 1879 in Boston.
Jessie accompanied her sister Mary A. McGinnis (my paternal great grandmother) to Boston in 1872.
I have not been able to locate and records for Charles and Jessie on census or births of children. My thought is that they may have returned back to Canada.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
