Mary McPhee who married Ingraham Banks of Annapolis Co.NS
was d/o William McPhee b. 1809 of 9MR Hants Co., NS and
his wife Martha Surtherland, they then moved to Stewiacke
East (Lower Stewiacke) Colchester County NS, and buried in
Pinegrove Cemetery Stewiacke East,The local history is that
a Banks female came to teach school, and her brothers then
her parents followed. That is how Mary McPhee met Ingraham
Banks. The Banks family that followed has not been documented, For the rest of the McPhee's you mentioned I
will have to check - the names are common to my McPhee
