I am curious whether you have any information about a possible sister of your Samuel McNinch. My ggggrandmother was Nancy McNinch (Brawley), b. abt 1797, Antrim, Ireland, m. Peter Brawley bef 1831, d. 3/25/1881 Iredell Co. NC, bur. Perth A.R.P. Church Cemetery, Troutman NC.
A narrative inscribed on the badly worn back of her tombstone tells how she had come to Chester SC as an indentured servant. After she worked off her obligation, she married Peter Brawley.
Their son was Samuel Robert Brawley, b. 8/9/1831 NC; d. 7/23/1870 NC.
His daughter was Robbie Mary Cordelia Brawley (Arthurs), b. 9/26/1870 after her father had died, d. 12/10/1937.
Her daughter was Ada Bernice Arthurs (Westmoreland), b. 11/10/1891, m. Robert Homer "Harlee" Westmoreland on 11/28/1912, d. 6/19/1933. Ada and Harlee were my grandparents.
