There is a young Austin McNinch in the 1860 census of Anderson County, SC. He is in the home of James and Jane McNinch, who are aged 62. There is a Margaret, 30, and a Martha, 28. Austin McNinch was a farm laborer, age 18.
Neighbors are Bolts, Williams, Chastain, and Hillhouse.
