Tom,
I am currently tracing my family's travels and have found that my Great, Great, Great Grandfather traveled from Pennsylvania to Perry County Kentucky sometime during the 1830s. I have just started my research in the PA area, and I am looking for his brothers, sisters, etc. His name was Benjamin McIntyre born circa 1784 (also erroneously spelled as McIntire during the 1840 and 1850 Perry County KY census) and his wife's name was Sally, born circa 1799. We may be climbing down the same tree. The names in the family that are most dominant are William, Benjamin, James, and Alexander (Alex). Unfortunately, they are also very common names throughout most of the McIntyre families I have found. I'll keep you and posted and if you have any other information, please let me know, and perhaps we can put the pieces together.
Regards,
Gary McIntyre
