Thanks Marsha, I didn't have anything on Hollis before except for his mth/yr of birth. Here is what I have on Wm. and his family:
William B. McIntyre (Thomas Graham2, Peter1) was born in Mississippi June 27, 1843. William was a teacher in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. William died April 3, 1905 at 61 years of age.
He married twice.
He married Abbie. Abbie is deceased. Abbie died in childbirth.
William B. McIntyre and Abbie had the following children:
11 i. Josephine McIntyre.
12 ii. Martha McIntyre.
He married Melissa Elizabeth White. Melissa was born 1853. Melissa was the daughter of George Washington White Jr. and Elizabeth Kinchen. Elizabeth was from Livington Parish, Louisiana.
William B. McIntyre and Melissa Elizabeth White had the following children:
1)Willie McIntyre. Willie is deceased. Willie died in childhood.
2)Mary McIntyre. Mary is deceased. Mary died at about seven years of age.
3,4) Twins McIntyre. The twins were stillborn.
5)Hortense McIntyre was born September 1880. She married William Settoon.
6) Elmore McIntyre was born May 1, 1882. Elmore died January 7, 1908 at 25 years of age.
7)Jerry Burns McIntyre was born August 23, 1886. (I have more info on him Marsha, he is our line.)
8)Clarence McIntyre was born January 1888.
9)Alden B. McIntyre was born April 5, 1890. Alden died January 15, 1958 at 67 years of age. He married Bernadette Fontenot. Bernadette was born August 20, 1895. (Additional notes for Bernadette Fontenot) Bernadette died October 29, 1987 at 92 years of age. Some of Alden and Bernadette's children are listed in their daughter's Mary's obituary. These are Ruby Lee Henkle of Navarre Beach, FL; sons, Kermit McIntyre and Amos McIntyre, both of Springfield, LA; and Mary McIntyre who married Henry Otto Schilling. Mary and Henry's children are Henry Thomas Schilling of Maurepas, LA and Marsha Threeton Sherburne of Springfield, LA. Henry Thomas Schilling's daughter is Meghan Schilling.
Mary McIntyre's obituary dated 2 Sep 1999 lists those who have preceded her in death as her parents, Alden and Bernadette; a sister, Elizabeth Abels; and a brother Edmond McIntyre.
Edmund McIntyre's gravemarker in Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Livingston Parish, Louisiana reads, "Earl Edmund McIntyre, s/o A.B. & B. McIntyre Aug. 14, 1922 - Jan., 14, 1923." The information on Alden's gravemarker indicates that he served in WWI. It reads, "La. Pvt. U.S. Army WWI"
10)Henry Preston McIntyre was born January 1892. Henry died 1963 at 71 years of age. He married Clementine Fontenot. Clementine was born July 24, 1898. Clementine died July 19, 1930 at 31 years of age.
11)Ella McIntyre was born September 1894.
12)Hollis McIntyre was born April 1896.
Marsha, If you have anything before Wm. please let me know. I can send you copies by email of many of my sources of info for the above.
