One of my 4th g-Uncle's daughters married a Ford McIntyre; as of 1901 they lived in Binghamton NY but since this is only newly received information from 4th g-uncle's obit, I've get to have the time to track Ford & his wife. I do know that his wife's sister did live in Michigan for a while and that my Dunham family has a tendency to run all over the United States,... almost as if they were trying to set a record for the number of miles a family can put on within 3 generations.

If I ever find any connection, will let you know. I think that the government land grants to veterans had an awful lot to do with the movements. This Ford McIntyre's wife was born in Otsego Co., NY, maiden name Dunham, parents were Richard J. Dunham b.1822 d.1901 and Nancy M. Brown b.1833 d.1896. I suspect her first name was Rebecca Georgianna, Addie, Ada, Saddie/Sarah but I can't be certain because I'm having a hard time reading the 1865 census records when it comes to the first names of Richard's triplet daughters. Unfortunately the obit simply reads "Mrs.Ford McIntyre."

,... Rebecca
