John McIntyre (McIntire), b. KY-lived IL

My 4th g-grandfather was John McIntyre (McIntire). According to the 1850 census for Massac County, IL he was born abt. 1800 in KY. He is missing from the 1860 census even though the woman I believe is his wife (Mary) is listed with most of the children that were in his household on the 1850 census.

Anybody have a John McIntyre in their database who was born in KY, then moved to IL (either Massac or Pope counties).

When he first bought land in IL it was in Pope county which in 1843 became part of Massac county.
