My mother was born ca 1807-1810. She was told that her father was a Charles McIntire/McIntyre and her mother was
either Mary or Lula. Her mother had died when she was a very small child and her father had disappeared even before
her mother died. Tom and Donie Barber took her in and raised her. Her first memories were of Coal Co, OK, but she
may have been born in TX.
She never knew anything about her family through her whole life, although she lived until 1990. In her memory, I am
trying to pin down the genetic parents of Evelyn McIntire. If anyone has any knowledge, no matter how small, it would be
greatly appreciated.
