I have no info on him as to dates of birth or death except that he died before 1880 in Ar. He married Mary Elizabeth Ford and had 4 children who was born in Durant, MS between 1866 and 1875. Could this possibly be the William you mention in the posting? Would appreciate any help and willing to share with you anything I may have. We don't know who the parents or any siblings of our William.
