Rose,

Oliver Edwin McINTYRE and his wife, Damaris JOHNSON moved to Dane Co. WI in about 1843 with their older children and then had a few more in WI.

Mary Cordelia b. about 1836 in NY
George Frederick b. 26 APR 1839
Arthur b. 1840 in NY
Eliza Ann b. 20 Aug 1840
Laura b. abt 1842 in NY
Harriet E b. 17 Sept 1844
Hannah b. 5 Dec 1845 in Oregon, Dane Co. WI
Olive b. 7 Mar 1853 in Oregon, Dane Co. WI
Arthur John b. 18 Jul 1856 in Oregon, Dane Co., WI
Isaac Willis b. 4 Jan 1860 in Oregon, Dane Co., WI

All of Oliver's sons had wives and none of them were named Caroline or Carrie, but maybe she was a first wife who died young or a second wife?

Hopefully someone else has the puzzle piece that ties this together.
