I'm looking for other M'Intires who were living in RI between 1660-1800. So far I'm aware of
Rufus Mackintire Sr, b. 1724
sp Mary Blackmar
their children,
Simeon b. 1755 (sp Mary); Pelatiah (?); and
Rufus Jr b. 1742 (sp Phebe Mitchell)
and I believe Rufus Jr's son was Annanias b. 1760.
Rhode Island is small enough and sparsely populated enough during that timeframe that I think all the Mackintires who were there at that time are somehow related. There are a few other names I've found, but I'm unsure how they are all related. With your assistance, I'd love to try to connect the dots.
About 1800 "my" McIntyres moved to Otsego Co, NY and then by 1850 they moved to Dodge Co, WI. Then eventually to Winona Co, MN and finally Grand Forks Co. ND. If this sounds familiar, please write!
