McINTYRE
I'm looking for info on Thomas McINTYRE, b. c1830 in (Co. Donegal?) Ireland & d. bet. 1869-1879 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. He m. Bridget NORTON b. Mar 1833 in Ireland. They lived in Reading, Berks Co., PA. Thomas may have had family who lived in Chester Co., PA.

I believe Thomas came to the U.S. with a brother Bernard McINTYRE & they lived in Phila. & moved onto Reading. After Thomas died Bridget & some of their children moved to Chester, Delaware Co., PA. Where she d. 12 Feb 1903 & is buried at Immaculate Heart Cemetery. I think they married in the states, if the year of Bridget's immigration is correct.

1835---Bridget's year of immigration to US from Ireland.

Bridget NORTON maybe an Irish Quaker, do to info from her granddaughter Nellie MAGUIRE.

1882-1883 Chester City Directory---Bridget McINTYRE is living at 2nd near Thurlow with her son Bernard P, who is a labor tube worker & her sons Joseph & Thomas. I believe she & her children left Reading abt. 1881, moved to Chester Co., PA in search of work & then on to Chester, Dela. Co., PA abt. 1882.
