I am looking for information on the ancestors of William Claud McIntyre (b 15 June 1821 in NC, d 03 March 1905) and
Candis Johnson (b 08 June 1833 in NC, d 08 March 1880). They were married 21 February 1855 in Hardeman Co., TN.
Candis' parents appear to be Micheal Johnson ( b ?, d about 1850)and Mary ?? (b about 1806). Parents of William Claud
may be Isaac McIntyre (b 1774-1775, d 22 Jan 1821 in Mecklenburg Co. NC) and Elizabeth (Betsy) Thompson (b
1780-1785 in VA, d 08 Jan 1858 in McNair Co. TN). (Betsy's mother may have been named Sarah ??) Other children of
Isaac McIntyre and Betsy Thompson are believed to be:
John James McIntyre, b 12 March 1812
Robert Thompson McIntyre
Isaac Massey McIntyre
Elizabeth McIntyre
