Hello. I am trying to find out more about my family tree. My mother is the last of the McIntyre family line and she has had several strokes so her memory is here and there.
I know my grandfather's name was Charles Stewart McIntyre, he had 2 bothers, Francis Patrick and James.
I know thier father's name was Charles Leo and he was married to Jean. The family was from Scituate,Mass. around the 1930's as well as the city of Lynn, Mass.
Charles Leo McIntyre was a fireman in one of those towns but my mother is not sure which one and she is not positive that the middle name of Leo is correct .. it may have been a nick name.
James McIntyre lived in Chicago in the 1980's. My mother thinks he was a computer analyst. Francis Patrick McIntyre was in the Merchant Marines first class XO. He moved around alot but lived in southern California in the middle 1960's.
Charles Stewart McIntyre joined the Navy in Boston somewhere near 1942.
While he was in the navy he met and married Marilyn Aileen Calkins. They had a daughter Susan Aileen McIntyre in 1948 and they lives in Suix Falls , SD.
