I just want to let everyone know I have copies of most of the Adirondic Museum records on the families of Archibald McIntyre and his son-in-law David Henderson. Archibald Mcintyre was the State Controller for the Erie Canal under Martin Van Buren. He also owned the North Elba Iron Works company and I believe a business partner or connected with the the Myers Slate Creek Iron Works in Kentucky.
