Do you have more information on this? If what your saying is true, the massacre would have happened around 1835 which is about the time of President Andrew Jackson's Indian Removal Act. I am tracking some McIntyre's that are Methodist Indian Missionaries connected to President Andrew Jackson and his Vice President Martin Van Buren. In turn they are connected to Felix Grundy who was the Attorney General for President Martin Van Buren. Felix Grundy's brother John married Elizabeth McIntyre. Maybe a coincidence and maybe not. For sure they are Methodist Indian Missionaries which would put them in harms way.
