Chester County ss:

       An Inquisition Indented and taken at the Township of Schuylkill in the County of Chester this fourth day of July A. D. 1830. Before me Peter Supplee a Justice of the Peace for said County, upon the View of the body of Thomas McIntire then and there lying dead -- upon the oaths of Isaiah Thropp Foreman Jacob Knouse Samuel Knouse Thomas Vanderslice Henry Snyder James Warnack James B Clewell George Zimmerman Joshua Zimmerman William Dewees and James Brinley and the Affirmation of Isaiah Potts -- good and Lawfull men of the County before said who being charged to inquire on the part of the Commonwealth when where and after what manner the said Thomas McIntire came to his death. Do report that we found the said Thomas McIntire on the shore of Schuylkill, in Schuylkill township Chester County near Valley Forge and the aforsaid Jurors say that the aforsaid Thomas McIntire Accidentally casually and by misfortune came to his death by being drowned in the River Schuylkill and not otherse -- And moreover the Jurors Aforesaid on their oaths and affirmations do say the said Thomas McIntire had no goods and chattles lands and tenements in the County aforsaid according to the best of their knowledge
       In witness whereof as well the Justice of the Peace and the Jurors Aforesaid have to this Inquisition put their hands and seals the day and year first above written -----
