I have a few ties to Beloit. I had a great uncle Francis C. McIntyre who was married to Anna Stephenson. He died in Beloit on 7/3/1930 and is burried there. I have several great aunts and uncles who were married in Beloit during that time. Margaret Irene McIntyre married William Sanders in Beloit on 11/26/1925. William Hubert (my grandfather) married Priscilla DeMontigny on 6/24/1925 in Beloit. Florence Loone McIntyre married Louis Mehalek in Beloit on 11/16/1929. Dorothy Elizabeth McIntyre married Gregory Corcoran in Beloit on 11/8/1934.
I have another great uncle (Hubert B McIntyre) who lived in Beloit for 20 years before his death on 6/9/1935. He was married to Elizabeth J. Cain who was killed in a street car accident in Beloit on 2/24/1928.
I had another great uncle Louis Francis McIntyre (son of Francis C. above) who married Evelyn Christianson. Louis was born in Beloit on 11/7/1910.
It appears we have another large contigent of McIntyres who lived in Baraboo, WI. some 1 1/2 hours drive from Beloit.
