In Robert Harry McIntyre's book he lists Archibald McIntyre of the McIntyre Iron Works father as Daniel McIntyre married to Ann Walker.
The Walkers of Dr Thomas Walker of Pittsburgh and Kentucky are part of the Myers Iron Works in Kentucky. If I can positively connect Ann Walker with Dr Thomas Walker's family, then I have another connection.
Dr Thomas Walker is Christopher Gist's partner in the first exploration of Kentucky. Christopher Gist's brother Thomas Gist is married to Susan Cockey. Her nephew John Cockey Owings is in partnership with Jacob Myers and his Iron Works in Kentucky.
The next connection is Jacob Myers's son William Myers is married to Caroline Grundy. Her Mother is Eliza McIntyre and her father is John Grundy. John Grundy's brother Felix Grundy is the Attorney General under Martin Van Buren. The connection of Martin Van Buren to Archibald Mcintyre is well recorded.
Last, Jacob Myers's daughter Mary Myers is married to John Walker although he is too young to be the son of Dr Thomas Walker. Dr Thomas Walker did have a son John Walker who is married to Elizabeth Moore. Elizabeth Moore is Gov Alexander Spotswood's granddaughter. Although William Myers and his family are listed as heirs to the Spotswood Estate in Kentucky.
