Weekly Union Times, Friday,Sept. 5, 1890 Union ,S.C. DEATH OF FRANCES M. McINTYRE We regret to announce this week, the death of that much esteemed gentleman, MR. FRANCES M. McINTYRE, which occurred at his residence last Saturday morning, after a protracted illness of several months, in his 63rd year of age. MR. McIntyre was a native of Ireland and had resided in Union for 25 years, during which time he had made many warm friends. Although retiring in didposition, all who came in contact with him could not fail to recognize that he possessed a warm and friendly heart, which responded freely as far as his means would permit, to all objects of charity. He was a kind and affectionate husband, a devoted father, a true friend. His first duty was to God and his friends. His remains were laid at rest in the village cemetery last Sunday in the presence of a large concourse of friends, who mourn his loss for his personal merits. The bereaved family have the sympathies of the entire community in their sad affliction. ----- { this is not my family } Notify Administrator about this message?
