Michele;
You are amazing. I have read thru your research and I find
several connections-similarities. I have a John William born in Lawrence County,Ohio 12-17-1844; died on 11-17-1917 in Springfield,Ohio. He reportedly married in Greenup, Ky. on 2-14-1871, but I do not know who he married or the names of any children.
The main item I am interested in is related to my maternal grandmother. Her name is Maud M. born in Hunnewell Furnace Ky.in 1861, a small area outside of the city of Greenup. You are correct, it is no longer there. I was in Greenup
trying to locate any McIntyres with no success. My problem is I cannot locate her birth parents, but I am told she is from within the McIntyre family. Maud was raised by Amelia
McIntyre and William Spray in Nelsonville, Ohio. They lived for a short time in Hocking, Cty.
I have also been told by another McIntire researcher that Reba McIntire is from our line three of four generations back. They also said that they had moved and changed the
spelling of the family name. I would greatly appreciate a reply,especially about Maud. God Bless. Jody Ward May
