Hi

Thank you very much. I have learned alot about the McIntyres since I posted my message. The Mcintyre Iron Works is indeed connected to the Jacob Myers Slate Creek Iron Works in Kentucky. Not only is there a connection with Jacob Myers's son married to Caroline Grundy who's mother is Elsa Mcintyre but there is a connection between Thomas Dye Owings and George Thompson running the iron works in Kentucky to Dye Thompson running the iron works at North Elba. The McIntyre Iron Works is shipping Iron Pigs to Harpers Ferry.

The Thompsons are married into John Browns family and John Brown of Harpers Ferry is buried at North Elba.
