A sister of my grand`father emigrated to Soouth-Africa around 1900, her name was Grietje Dijkstra. We have a letter from one of her daugthers, who was married with Charles Mc Intyre. She signed with 'susje' K. Mc Intyre, Lincludenstraat, Rugby, Kaapstad. Her daughter's name was Rita. The letter is dated 12-6-56 at the occasion of the death of our grand'father. At that time Rita was working at the archive of the department of education.
