I am trying to connect Archibald McIntyre who founded the McIntyre Iron Works near Lake Placid NY to Jacob Myers who built the Slate Creek Iron Works in Kentucky. I believe Jacob Myers's son William Myers married Caroline Grundy. Caroline Grundy's mother is Elizabeth McIntyre. I believe Archibald and Elizabeth belong to the same McIntyre family. There might also be a connection to the Churchill Iron Works slightly down river from the Slated Creek Works.
