Its been a long time since I have posted. Many computer problems when i lost a lot of my contact information. My genealogy info was ok as I have that on different computer.

The McIntyre tree has grown big time - with an index its around 2,500 pages. We are still looking for the origins of the McIntyres. Many speculations but nothing concete. It is now believed the McIntyre's came from the island of Barra but not sure where. This has been put together with the ties of McIntyres in the Quebec City area.
I am starting to beleive Neil McIntyre and his wife Margaret McKenzie (St Marie de Beauce area) are the same as Edward/ Leonard McIntyre and Bridget McKenzie. I have been looking for death records of both there is nothing for Edward and Briget. The search has turned to looking for records in the Quebec City area. As I look for the info - the McIntyre tree on both sides continues to grow as I add birth, marriage and death info. As well as obits as I find them.

if you would like a copy of this McIntyre' family tree in PDF format drop me a line at krispat@cogeco.ca. And in the subject line state McIntyre family tree. I do have cd of 130,000 connected names to the Bay Chaleur area and Acadian Heritage if you are researching other names in the area.

hoping to hear from you.

Kris
