I don't have much on Michael's roots. According to records at the clerk's office in Blackstone, MA, his parents were Edward McIntyre and Mary Connelly. Michael and parents all born in Ireland. He married Margaret Graham [Grehan in Ireland] on Nov 30, 1871 in Blackstone. He immigrated in 1868; she in 1869. They were on the 1880 North Smithfield, RI census, the 1900 and 1910 Blackstone census. They had eleven children; [1]Edward P., abt. 1874, RI; [2]Margaret Ellen, 24Aug1875, MA; [3]William H., 29May1877, MA; [4]Mary G., Feb1879, RI; [5]Francis Patrick, 9May1880, RI; [6]Annie T., JUL1882, RI; [7]Michael Grover, 7NOv1884, MA; [8]Catherine Elizabeth, 17NOV1886, MA; [9]Joseph C., 22AUG1889, MA; [10]Agnes C., 1NOV1891, MA; and, [11]Leo Terrance, 26MAR1894, MA. Michael Sr. died in 1918. His wife, Margaret was still living in 1942, as she appears as nearest relative on son Leo's WWII draft registration in Groton, CT. Michael Sr. appears to have a brother, William, b. abt. 1848, IRE; married Rose Cunningham; no children. He also had a sister, Margaret, b. abt 1859, IRE; died 29AUG1886, Blackstone, MA.
