So nice to hear from you! I was beginning to think no one else was researching this line.

Since posting this message, I have traced some of the descendants of this family through resources available on the Internet and have made contact with a few of them. I have not found any other researchers in the process. Nor have I had any luck getting any further back on this line.

I would very much like to exchange information and learn more about your line. We can probably take this offline and email each other directly to exchange information on John McIntyre's descendants.
