I am searching for the McIntyre family from Cleveland/Rutherford Counties in North Carolina.
Some information I have is the family of Jeremiah Francis McIntyre b. 1865 NC (m. Myra Harris b. 1875 NC).
Son of Jeremiah was Elijah Ben Mcintyre who was a famous boxer under the name Bennie Mack (spelling may be different in nickname.)
Jeremiah's father was Elijah McIntire b. 1834 NC (m. Mary Ann Gadner b. 1842 NC)
