I'm looking for anyone who has information on the family of Alexander McIntyre (born in 1847). I have information showing Alexander is the son of Peter McIntyre and Isabella McIntyre. They lived in Ontario Canada, but Peter and Isabella were born in Scotland. Alexander had a sister, Janet McIntyre-Hord, who died in childbirth. One of her daughters, named Janet Ann Hord b.1870, lived with Alexander (who would have been Janet Ann's uncle) and his family after her mother's death. Janet Ann is my ggrandmother and I would appreciate any information that you might have to share on her mother's McIntyre kin.
