Searching for family of Ann Letitia McIntyre, daughter of William McIntyre of Addigton. Here is what I know:
My family tree "begins" in Ontario. Roderick Alexander Matheson was a barrister in Perth, Ontario in the late 1800's and early 1900's. (HIs father was a Roderick A. Matheson, mother was Letitia McIntyre Matheson) He was married and had 6 children. His wife left him (believe her name was Mathilda), moved to Columbus, Ohio, with her children, Roderick Garnet Matheson, Harold Alexander Matheson, Ruby Matheson. Tilly Matheson, Minnie and Ella (Ella died young). She raised her remaining children in Columbus. She divorced Roderick and remarried a man by the last name of Taylor (we think).
Harold A. Matheson married Effie (Francis) Dolby and they had one daughter, Mildred.
Roderick G. Matheson married Beatrice Lovella Lowe and they had three children: Mary (Mabel) Katherine Matheson (1908-199?), Roderick Joseph Matheson (FEb.18, 1910 -Feb 2002), and Harry Edwin Matheson(1912-1938).
Roderick J. Matheson married Carolyn Agnus Trueax in 1935, Columbus, Ohio. They had 4 boys: Roderick Louis Matheson, Edwin Joseph Matheson, Louis Richard Matheson, and Gerald Leon Matheson. I am the daughter of Edwin Matheson.
We have had a hard time finding out information on RODERICK Alexander matheson, his wife's family and who their parents were. Also, where did they come from? Were they born in Ontario or immigrate there?
