My family is from Glenoe. They (Donald McIntyre & family) "came over" in 1775 to NC. There was a brother left in Glenoe. His name was either Nial or Neal. I don't know what became of him or, if he was married, his family. According to a receipt dated 7th Jan 1775 Donald was renting 1/4 of Glenoe; however, decided to leave Scotland by the end of the year. I assume Nial/Neal stayed behind on the rental property, but I'm not sure.
