I didn't e-mail you for the reasons outlined in http://www.tedpack.org/goodpost http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp has: Household: Name Marital Status Gender Ethnic Origin Age Birthplace Occupation Religion George MCINTYRE M Male Scottish 34 O <Ontario> Wett Dazzer P Methodist Mary MCINTYRE Female German 24 O <Ontario> E. Methodist Amos MCINTYRE Male Scottish 6 O <Ontario> E. Methodist Myst MCINTYRE Female Scottish 2 O <Ontario> E. Methodist Martha MCINTYRE Female Scottish <1 Born: <Aug>; 8m O <Ontario> E. Methodist -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Source Information: Census Place Thedford, Lambton, Ontario The names line up pretty well, and it is in Thedford. I am in California. All I know about Candaians is that at Easter, instead of chololate rabbits, they give out chocolate moose. It looks like "Lambton" is a county or sub-region in Ontario and Thedford is a town. Amos would be 26 in 1901, just right to enlist for the Boer War. He would be 39 in 1914, a bit old for WWI, and 64 in 1939, far too old for WWII. Your wife's great-grandfather could have been born anywhere from 240 to 48 years ago. He was probably born about 80 - 120 years before your wife, but either of those two extreme numbers is possible. Without dates it is hard to tell. Notify Administrator about this message?
