Lansing McIntyre info from the census

1850 Farmington census has:
#530
Nathaniel McIntyyre age 45 born in NY
Rebecca McIntyre age 28 - 2nd wife
Sally B. McIntyre age 18
Silas McIntyre age 16 (own house in 1860)
Elivra McIntyre age 6
Emiline McIntyre age 4
Richard McIntyre age 2
#531
William McIntyre age 35
Belinda McIntyre age 28
Jane McIntyre age 9
John W. McIntyre age 3
Julia A. McIntyre age 10 is added on the 1860 census
Lansing McIntyre age 5 is added on the 1860 census
#532
Lansing McIntyre age 30
Polly McIntyre age 27
#533
Nathaniel McIntyre age 74
Hannah McIntyre age 70

1860/1870 Lansing and Polly McIntyre move to NY and live in the Ellery/Stockton area.
1870 Ellery census
Lansing McIntyre 50 clergyman
Polly McIntyre 48 keeping house
Lansing McIntyre 13

So there are two Lansing McIntyre's born 1855/1856 - one the son of William and Belinda and one the son of Lansing and Polly. Lansing who later marries Clementine is in the Stockton/Ellery area. Would it best to assume he is the son of Lansing and Polly more so than the child of William and Belinda who are found more in the PA area? I don't find a Lansing listed as a child of Nathaniel and Rebecca on any of the census.
