Hello, looking for information on William McIntyre, who was a witness at my GGGrandfather James Wesley Oliver's wedding, in Lindsay, Victoria County, Ontario in 1889. Other witness listed is Emma STREET, who I believe was the daughter of Jacob Street and Emma(Oliver) Street. Emma was the cousin of James Wesley Oliver.
1881 Census for Lindsay, Victoria South Ontario lists:
Jas. McIntyre Scottish age 38 Birthplace Ont. Occ. Miller C. Presbyterian
Annie McIntyre Irish age 27 BP. Ont
William McIntyre Scottish, age 11, BP. Ontario, going to school (This puts his birth in 1870)
Ellen McIntyre, age 6
John McIntyre, age 2
Mabel McIntyre, 1
Alice Hagan, Irish, age 17, birthplace, Ontario
This McIntyre family was living a few houses down from Adam Henry Oliver, James Wesley Oliver's father...
