I also have a Peter McIntyre of New York, he was my gggrandfather. I believe he was born in 1819 and he died in New York city in 1863. He was a policeman and was killed in the line of duty durning the Civil War draft riots. I have his father's name as Andrew McIntyre. Any similarities?
